Thanks for stopping by!
I'm a recent graduate with a degree in journalism and a minor in business. Producing videos and taking pictures – that's my forte. Video games and clever jokes? Not quite.
I'm always seeking for stories and striving to tell them well. Time spent hunting for good stories lead to a Gracie Award, two first-place awards from WHNPA's 2019 Eyes of History: Student Contest for Feature Natural Sound Package and Long Form Feature, a first-place award in Television Feature Reporting from the 2018 BEA Festival of Media Arts and a finalist position for Online/Digital Feature Videography at the 2018 SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards. I'm excited to trek further into the paths of videography, photography and motion graphics and discover where they take me.
Currently, I am a Communications Intern for the Aspen Institute and have had previous internships with NPR as a Multimedia Intern and American Enterprise Institute as a Video Production Intern.
I love all things Marvel, fuzzy socks and Christmas songs. I enjoy zooming down a mountain on my snowboard, playing lots and lots of flag football and downing big cups of bubble tea. In fact, I'm probably drinking some right now.
cheers,
pearl
